May began with a day long forgotten by the current passengers of the capitalist-commercially addicted "TIT-anic" ..."labour day" or even more remote the original celebration...of the Europeans..the Celts ; "May Day" (link) the Beltane festival, removal of evil and welcome in the creative and New Spirit of Birth &..summer
today, 6th June @ 06h ("666") in 1944 the Allies launch (then) the largest every military invading attack & naval armada to "free Europe" .....Yet, here we are almost 70 years later, with hardly any survivors to remind us what that generation got killed or maimed for...?
During the latter part of May, those who currently falsely claim "ownership" broke the contract of Kenneth Dalglish, the word Legend is often used, however King Kenny is a true "Living Legend" for true Supporters and indeed an "Icon" who also increased the profits of OUR club..and got stabbed in the back by Director Ayres & the "yankers" John Henry ( a dubious "money-man") & his "chairman" ; Tom Werner (a slippery "media man").. these 3, who have so little knowledge of OUR club, our football or our core culture, removed OUR hero...and that is simply the "last straw" for so many, especially the senior/core supporters who still have "values" and not just see footy as a computer game or to be dictated to by scumedia & money-driven dictators....

The main claim against the "occupation" of OUR club, is that they use OUR symbol (our chants, songs, prose & OUR "history") to promote Lfc ..so I have grounded a "not for profit club" to further the activities of the various Sclogs, blogs, websites, netgroups & othere social networking activities that connect "Global RedS', CSers, & associated networked, clubs, organisations & individuals with similar values & "goals"; local & global as the CSLIVE r BIRD footy ( fun, & Social) CLUB..we have a common "colour & SPIRIT" we are the club, we are REdS!
So the LIVErBIRDs, one day will shrug off their chains and our Supporters, without discrimination will re-claim, not only "the KOP" but our whole club.. our "party" is not political, and as shanks said...("the socialism I believe in")

Crazy ; a TRUE "Warrior" (not shirt manufacturer) ran like a galloping horse...charging down the field..loved him to bits,,.

Em reached the Spurs pen area and smacked it past jennings ( a world class goalie of the time) ..goal of the season. I think we won 1-0 , but the goal it self was worth it....

Some years back a gang of Reds were talking about different players and Emlyn Hughes - Crazy Horse - came up.
A mate of mine told how in a European game we were being taken apart down our right hand side by some tricky, speedy winger. The mists of time cloud out who he or the opposition were, but it could have been Eintracht Frankfurt.
My mate was in the paddock and Emlyn was playing as a left sided centre back. He’d had enough of this playonce he’d broken through again, Emlyn came right across the field and tackled the player by the paddock.
My mate said it was the hardest tackle he’d ever seen. He said that grown men whinced as Emlyn hit him. He won the ball cleanly, but hit him so hard you could hear the crunch of bone on muscle and all the air coming out of the players body, not only when he got hit, but when he also hit the paddock wall. He never bothered us after that.

And because of that mistake (regarding tickets) it may sound hypocritical for me to say that it is a shame that people living in Liverpool can't
afford tickets for the match, and some people from abroad can. But it is really my honest opinion.
Liverpool is a global community, it brings together people from all over the world, there are a lot of people outside England who see Liverpool as a way of life, but can't make it to Anfield because of money. So I'm not trying to say that we, the global fans are fake, or that we love the club less then locals, but there are some people who were there before us, an they stopped visiting Anfield because of commercialization, high ticket prices and everything. that's the way globalization is affecting us all,
in some 30 years, for example, in Monty, Montenegrians will
be second class citizens, next to rich Russians who are buying everything on the coastline, but it is their sea, they lived there since the day they were born. And while I think of myself as a LFC supporter, and I will never stop being one, i think the football is being given to tourists, people with money and no knowledge of football, it's also fashionable these days, around Balkans, to have "your EPL team" well ,me, I have only one team, and I don't like where it is going ...and I don't want to lose it, I don't want it to lose it's identity in through capitalism and globalization.

@Jtrain, yeah i make some "typos" in my rushed postings too,;) and as we are both being "sensible" right now, just explain the emotive issues do go back even before G & H ..circa 12 years, if you read through , there is a name mentioned who seems to have been at the beginning,
without stirring up the whole issue between us again, I truly made immense efforts at reasonable complaints since 2000 (when I formed an official supporters club in Freiburg..however, there have been "problems" going back to biased tecketing etc and i suppose i started to wonder about the "office" when i was younger and read Shanks Autobiography, and couldnt understand how the Directors failed to honour the truth that ..added to my anger..
since I have been in the Balkans its got even worse, viscious viral attacks on my computer souced in Lp..(and the Macadonian Reds supporters club being denied official recognition etc etc) add in all the sh*te that went on through Moores "sale" (imo illegal, but that explanation will have to wait for an eventual hearing, i hope u understand..) to G & H , and increased when NESV took over
..Ayres even ignored "chairman" K. Gill's appeal to allow 2 of our young "Balkan ReDS" members to see Andy & Stewart when the English FA played here in Podgorica against Montenegro last Year..

White authors on the subject generally assume that the Lakota would be offended by 'the desecration' of another mountain on their sacred lands. And some Lakota Sioux today probably are.
But a very interesting book I read by Dr A.C. Ross/Ehanamani (Walks Among Us) who is Sioux painted a different story. He recounted that before Crazy Horse was assassinated in Fort Robinson Nebraska by a calvary soldier, when he had surrendered himself to the army he had predicted that he would be killed, but that he would return to the Black Hills "in stone". So he estimates that Crazy Horse himself would be proud of the memorial carving as a fulfillment of his prophecy.

As for it being 'legalised genocide' your lack of information about the US continues. In fact the Treaty of Fort Laramie of 1868 made it illegal for settlers to enter the Black Hills (home of the Lakota and Crazy Horse). Those are individual people who were citizens and immigrants (Europeans) and not government sanctioned or involved.

As for our American violent occupation of this continent, it was firstly done by Europeans who had settled on the continent. So I guess all of our evil is rooted in European ways, which are a history of border battles and cultural squabbles. So I take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of most Americans for acting European.
As for true REDS and the Red man, it could be. But personally I'm a winner, so I feel I have a lot in common with Liverpool FC if not so much the rest of Liverpool's economy and politics. But then again, most everybody on here is a fan of Liverpool because of their winning traditions. As your fannie blog stated, some because they thought this player was cute, or liked that uniform or whatever lesser reason. But regardless, most like LFC because of the "FC". I don't have a problem if you or others like it because of the "L", being the great city of Liverpool or its socialist background or whatever. I don't begrudge you or anyone that.
It's just sad that you begrudge and belittle so many because they don't share 100% your values and what the club means to you. I'm guessing even our mutual friend CH777 doesn't have 100% alignment with your thinking. Unfortunately what you have decided to do is draw a line somewhere and hold to the belief that anybody with that much less history or similar beliefs about LFC does not deserve to be a fan. Conversely I believe the club is great and big enough for all who so chose to follow it.
I appreciate your love of the club and your personal history with it. In fact I love this blog and you sharing it and what it means to you. I'm even fine with you not liking FSG for how they treated KK. Anybody who knows me on here can testify to the fact I believe it was a mistake and mishandled. I just tire of your anti-American generalizations about them and myself. Your lack of creativity and continual spouting of misconceptions or perceived realities bores me.
A very well done memorial site potrayed fairly to both sides that is emotional. It has an eeire feeling to it like you can 'feel' the events or ghosts of the place. To me personally it had that feeling even more than the Gettysburg or Pearl Harbor sites, which many people say the same thing about.

and certainly IMo the Best captain, not because of techinique, or what he won with us, although Em was the only REd to have picked up 2 European Champion trophies in consecutive seasons and let the team though probably our best ever period (IMO) ..the seventies , was the embodyment of Shanks on the field = & loyal to the club (our supporters) off the field..
